  • Overview

    Performs lab support tasks and supplements the existing lab team. Provide daily operations support in the lab for software engineers in the development of complex military systems. Success in this position requires an assertive, professional, and confident attitude.



    • Maintain software licenses records used in and outside the lab to support the program
      • to ensure accurate cost planning (existing/new license needs)
      • to be used with receive quotes and send out purchasing requests
      • Support internal software purchase review board
    • Coordinate with leads to update inputs for staffing on the team
    • Submit FOSS requests
    • Develop and implemented standard operating procedures to facilitate consistency and productivity


    Required Skills:

    1. Active SECRET security clearance
    2. Possess excellent communication and writing skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
    3. Ability to perform as a self-starter and work with minimal supervision and oversight.
    4. Basic knowledge of hardware and license tracking.
    5. Intermediate knowledge of Excel. (e.g., Excel formulas, pivot tables)

    Additional Requirements:

    1. High School level or College degree in related discipline, military experience, or equivalent job related experience and two year’s professional experience.
    2. Candidate must be U.S. citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
    3. Willingness to work overtime when dictated to support business needs.
    4. Familiarity with FOSS processes. Free and Open Source Software.

    Contract Term: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week.

    Rate:  Negotiable
